Serious deterioration in the road surface.
Reported via mobile in the Pothole category anonymously at 19:34, Thu 19 June 2025
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
Recent repairs to this part of Thames Road appear to have exacerbated the problem. The road surface is deteriorating so badly that it will not be long before the gulleys will be full of tarmac from the road surface. Vehicles ‘bouncing’ on the road are making a horrendous and unacceptable noise. The road is dangerous, especially for cyclists, and it will not be long before there is a serious accident. The remedy is not to patch repair the road when the holes reach an arbitrary criteria but to strip and properly resurface thus part of Thames Road.
