Abandoned Car on Double Yellow Line

Reported via desktop anonymously at 16:17, Thursday 19 June 2025

Sent to Cherwell District Council and Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

This car appears to have been abandoned at this location as it hasn't moved since Monday 16th June (4 days), half on the pavement and on a double yellow line on the crest of the hill on Broughton Road. This restricts the view for vehicles leaving Claypits Close and adjacent properties (on Broughton Road). In the last 24hrs the car has sustained damage (broken wing mirror). Needs to be moved prior to an accident happening, cars travelling towards Banbury have to manoeuvre into the opposite carriageway to go round it. Note also partially blocking the pavement for vulnerable users (PRMs, push chairs etc..)

Council ref: ENQ251051250
