Flowering Pyramid Orchids cut today. Skill Vest Funded.

Reported via desktop in the Grass category anonymously at 15:33, Monday 16 June 2025

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Over the last few years at least 20 Pyramid orchids have begun flowering behind the crash barrier on Oxford Road before the Oxford side of the bridge. To cut this grass seems quite unnecessary as it's not a footpath nor does it obscure motorists or cyclists vision. It would be acceptable to cut it either in the Autumn after flowering or every 2 yrs. Perhaps you could allow us to to put up a notice to prevent mowing at this time of year. Many thanks.
