Traffic dangerous to residence - Oxford Road
Reported via desktop in the Other category anonymously at 15:25, Tue 10 June 2025
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council and Vale of White Horse District Council 1 minute later
At the end of Oxford Road, near the gate of the old A420, there is a section of about 20 metres along the pedestrian path that has no barrier. Some people are using this pedestrian path as a shortcut to drive to their houses. We have tried to address this issue locally, but residents cannot monitor or police the area continuously. Since no vehicles are expected here and children often play on this path, it is very dangerous to leave this section unprotected. Therefore, we would like to kindly request that this part of the path be fenced off to prevent vehicle traffic and ensure the safety of pedestrians, especially children. Photos are attached.
