Large branches in road
Reported via mobile in the Report a tree problem category anonymously at 15:15, Tuesday 10 June 2025
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
Branches appear to have been ripped from the overgrown hedge on Bell Lane. The road is partially blocked. The branches are too heavy for me to move and nowhere to move them too. Worried it will a danger afte dark.

Thanks so much - I’m not sure who owns the hedge/trees opposite my home but this is the second time branches have been pulled out by a vehicle in the last few months. Might it be possible to cut the hedge back and put up more signage about how narrow Bell Lane is? I worry for the safety of drivers and pedestrians as the branches are simply left and whoever is driving the vehicles that cause the damage must know what they’ve done. Thanks again.

I reported separately that the hedges on Bell Lane and elsewhere in the village are growing into the road and being caught by vehicles. There are probably 3-4 reports of this nature in Brightwell cum Sotwell, so please look at all of them when you visit.
