Footpath width obstructed by overgrown hedges
Reported via desktop in the Footways and Pavement damage category anonymously at 19:53, Mon 9 June 2025
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
I have to support my wife and do not like to walk on the public verge. Due to the restricted width of the footpath we have to walk in the road, which obviously puts us risk. Apart from the hedges growing out to affect the footpath other plants are now spreading onto the footpath. I would suggest the hedges and plants are cut back to expose the true footpath width.

Hedge growth is increasing, thereby reducing the footpath width. In addition hollyhocks are spreading out across the footpath.
