Japanese Knotweed found in Horse Field, Iffley

Reported via desktop in the Other category anonymously at 13:35, Mon 9 June 2025

Sent to Oxford City Council and Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

A large clump of Japanese knotweed was found behind our garden (60 Church Way, Iffley, Oxford), on land belonging to Oxford City Housing Ltd (Horse Fields, Iffley). I believe there was a previous sighting of Japanese Knotweed in the field some years back, so it may have resuscitated. It would be important to control it before it spread to the 3 adjoining gardens.
