Overhanging vegetation

Reported via desktop in the Hedges category anonymously at 10:18, Monday 9 June 2025

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Vegetation along the boundary of Holywell Cemetery is encroaching at head height onto the footpath running alongside Manor Road. This is a much used footpath and it is impossible to pass someone without one pedestrian having to step into the carriageway of a very busy road, often stepping into the path of oncoming cyclists! The hedges haven't been cut for over 18 months, so month by month the problem worsens. I work in a building nearby and no this pathway is used regularly by several disabled pedestrians (visually impaired) and wheelchair users. It's really dangerous for them to navigate this path without support from others.
