Long trench collapsing near kevel crossing
Reported via desktop in the Potholes and maintenance category by Pothole Hunter at 05:46, Fri 6 June 2025
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
Reported and the lamest excuse for not fixing the issue as is "a hatched white area" Pardon me, but its part of the road? The trench is collapsing/degrading because it is being driven on, how else do you explain the degradation? The weight of traffic is in part helping this trench collapse. Part of this trench has been fixed before, you can see new tarmac on the top right hand side of it. So to say you cant fix it is folly when that area has already been fixed before. OCC recently fixed a issue i reported ( ENQ251045889 ) that was also in "white hashed area" and was fixed.
