Unusable footpaths High grass overhanging the footpath together with overgrown hedges

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Disabled, chikdren and elderly are all using the road as the footpath has become unusable. Grass and hedges have been left uncut for a year. In previous years it was cut down but the new contract/council seem to have forgotten the side of the recreation ground on oxford road. Dogs and small children are particularly at risk from ticks and seeds becoming lodged in ears. Theres also an overhanging rose with thorns at eye level. The longer it remains un managed, the greater the risk to people and the bigger the job is.

    Today (Thursday 31 July) I witnessed an elderly neighbour walking on the road as it is impossible to walk on the pavement. I agree with the person who made a complaint on 5 June. Disabled, children and elderly are all using the road as the footpath has become unusable. Grass and hedges have been left uncut for a year. In previous years it was cut down but the new contract/council seem to have forgotten the side of the recreation ground on oxford road. I would hate for there to be an accident!

    As you enter Dorchester from the A4074 and come over the bridge, there is a horse chesnut tree which clearly has a huge dead branch which is likely to fall onto the road or a pedestrian. Can this please be removed. It may be in the grounds of the Catholic Church.
