Trees overhanging on to road and breaking fences

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Fences opposite 22-26 hart close and 8-10 hart close are broken due to trees that are overhanging on to hart close. Trees need to be chopped back and maintained to avoid fence collapsing and obstructing the road.

  • Yes, trees are still over hanging and damaging boundary fence forcing it in to the road on Hart Close

    Location is next to path that enters to Hart Close, directly opposite 26 and 8 Hart Close.

  • Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention and apologies for the delay in action on this issue. We have now located the owner of the boundary hedge effecting your close (BRYANT HOMES CENTRAL LIMITED ) and we have noticed the developer to attend site and make the appropriate cut backs to resolve this issue. We have given them a 1 month time frame to make contact and take action due to the scale of the works needed. If no works have been carried out by the start of December 2025, please do let us know via email and we will chase the issue - Highway.Enquiries@Oxfordshire.gov.uk
