Investigating
Plants overhanging the road at face-level when cycling

Heading towards Kidlington there is one location on this short stretch of road where there are plants/overgrowth overhanging the road. Not a huge issue when driving, but when cycling they are at my head/face height, so I either have to be hit by them, or swerve out and hope that any cars behind leave me room to do so.

Yes it's still an issue. I'm afraid I don't have any photos, and it's half way between home and work on my cycle commute, so I can't easily get photos now. If you travel from the Hampton Poyle turning to towards Kidlington on the A34 entrance slip, where I've marked the pin, you will see that there are various points where shrubbery has filled the verge and extended beyond to overlap the kerb and grow over the road. For cars/trucks they can just drive further out from the kerb and it's not too bad, but when cycling and trying to keep left, the overhanging branches are face-level in places and can catch you out if there's a car or lorry overtaking so you can't just move right to avoid them.
