Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Disappointed to find signalised shuttle-working on Oxford Road Abingdon A4183 which closes the toucan crossing which joins Peachcroft to Long Furlong. I was on my bike going east-west across the road with my child and had to dash on the inter-green. Not comfortable at all. Please could crossings be provided in future road works of this type. thanks.
