Please cut the grass here - zero visibility

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
Hi, when you cut the grass on the verges here outside Charlton Barn (done regularly - possibly by St Modwen etc) please also cut the side between the house and cricket club as it is very overgrown and becomes a magnet for rubbish and dog fouling. It also makes it very difficult to pull out of the driveway as you cannot clearly see what is coming, thank you.

Sorry I put the wrong location, should be outside Charlton Barn - to the left of Scantlebury Way when you look at the map!

Thank you for your enquiry. Oxfordshire County Council, as the Highway Authority, is ultimately responsible for the maintenance of grass verges alongside the carriageway network throughout Oxfordshire (excluding motorways and trunk roads). Under our new approach, all roadside verges in both rural and urban areas are cut once a year. If necessary, we will trim areas that impede driver visibility more regularly. For more details, you can refer to our Highway Verge and Vegetation Management policy at https://www.oxfordshire.gov.uk/ sites/ default/ files/ file/ roads-and-transport-major-projects/ grasscuttingpolicy.pdf
