Bollard has been damaged
Reported via iOS in the Roads and Carriageways category anonymously at 09:44, Thu 15 May 2025
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
The bollard intended to separate vehicles from the cycle lane on South Parade has been damaged and removed from its floor mount once again. Perhaps replacing it with a concrete bollard will have the effect of dissuading motorists from invading the space?

The vehicle keep left sign at the entry to South Parade is now missing completely. This is an important piece of infrastructure because it slows motor vehicles turning into South Parade, making the very heavily used pedestrian crossing there much safer and more pleasant to use.

It is evident that this junction is constantly abused by careless motorists. It needs a more permanent restriction which can’t be driven over or damaged.
