Reported via desktop in the Footways and Pavement damage category anonymously at 12:19, Tuesday 13 May 2025
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later
I reported on 3 October 2024 that a large area of the pavement between the junction of Aynho Road, Adderbury and the Red Lion pub on the A4260 road is damaged and worn out and is a trip and fall hazard. The Council acknowledged receipt and on 8 October 2024 emailed they were investigating. On 4 November 2024 they emailed that the damage met the criteria for intervention and repairs were scheduled to be carried out soon, As of today, 13 May 2025, no repairs have been carried out to this area of pavement, which still remains a trip and fall hazard.

Although you have asked for photos of the damaged pavement area, I would refer you to my previous report of October 2024 regarding the damage to the pavement and your email to me of November 2024 confirming that you have inspected the area of damage, agreed that it met the criteria for repair and confirmed that you would carry out the repairs soon. Therefore, the damage has already been inspected by yourselves. Your reference for my first report of this damage is ENQ241019392. This should give you the information you need.
