Trees in green are infringing on houses
Reported via mobile anonymously at 22:38, Sunday 11 May 2025
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council and South Oxfordshire District Council less than a minute later
The trees on the green are now in danger of hitting windows during high winds. These trees need to be pruned. They are a risk to properties now and also severely blocking all the natural light, leaving affected houses in a very dark condition all day.

Sorry to bother you. I live at 8 Van Diemans Road. The trees planted in the open plan bit have grown taller than my house. They also block light from my house which I have a right to. I have taken a photo. During the strong winds the branches touch the roof and I don’t want the worry of them touching the house if we have more powerful wind. I feel they desperately need trimming. Thanking you if someway you could help me

Thank you for your enquiry, these trees are growing outside of the Highway Boundary, and are therefore not the responsibility of OCC, I suggest contacting either, Thame Town Council or South Oxfordshire District Council as they are more than likley to be responsible for the trees.
