Grass and hedge too high reducing visibility
Reported via mobile in the Grass category anonymously at 11:56, Sat 10 May 2025
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
The visibility is getting low again due to grass and hedge growing. This is a very dangerous spot as a lot of accidents happened cause there is no visibility. Please come cut it again before someone gets hurt again (i got into an accident cause of it a couple of years ago)

Thank you for your enquiry. Oxfordshire County Council, as the Highway Authority, is ultimately responsible for the maintenance of grass verges alongside the carriageway network throughout Oxfordshire (excluding motorways and trunk roads). Under our new approach, all roadside verges in both rural and urban areas are cut once a year. If necessary, we will trim areas that impede driver visibility more regularly. For more details, you can refer to our Highway Verge and Vegetation Management policy at https://www.oxfordshire.gov.uk/ sites/ default/ files/ file/ roads-and-transport-major-projects/ grasscuttingpolicy.pdf
