Overgrown grass verges
Reported via mobile in the Grass category by Emma Swingle at 14:00, Sun 27 April 2025
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
When are you planning to cut the grass verges on Over Norton Road. They have NOT been cut all year and full of large thistles and goodness knows what which is causing problems for my dogs paws on walks. Do not wait until May to only have the excuse it’s No Mow May.

Can I ask why two verges on the corner of Park Road and Over Norton Road have today been mowed on a sit down mower yet NO others on the Over Norton Road have been done, it looks so untidy and overgrown.

Can you advise if ALL not just one or two grass verges will have a Final Cut along Over Norton Road before the winter sets in. They are unsightly, long, full of thistles and dog pooh. Which is not good when walking my dogs. Some residents have felt the need to cut theirs outside their properties but obviously this leaves a number unattended. Please attend to this as we are fed up reporting this on a regular basis.
