Numerous potholes near Blenheim Farm
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
I reported this stretch of road as ref: 6536244 in October 2024. On 25 April I received an update asking me to open a new report if this is still an issue. Of course it is, as nothing has changed. There are numerous potholes and loose gravel making this stretch of road hazardous for cycling. The drainage is poor, with the result that the potholes are invisible after rain. Please do a proper job on it.

I agree with the previous reporter the state of this section of the Old Icknield Way is shocking and a real hazard to pedestrians, horse riders, cyclists, and road traffic. I live nearby and have lost count as to the number of cyclists who have fallen off due the the road’s poor state. What’s happening about the council’s promise to get a grip on the pot hole situation?
