Stop saying “Investigation complete” and give a REAL reason why this road hasn’t been repaired yet! It’s been causing issues since December for goodness sakes

  • Why are you asking ME to put my life on the line to take photos for the council?! It’s a 50mph road and you think it’s a smart idea for a member of the public to stand in the road and take photos. Are you stupid?! Just take a car from the mini roundabout and head towards botley. Just drive for 100 meteres and you’ll see exactly what the problem is. Do NOT be so ignorant and encourage public to take photos like this. Ridiculous

  • Thank you for your report. Based on our assessment, the highlighted area does not currently meet the criteria for immediate intervention under our Highway Safety Inspection Policy. It is rough and the answer is the council doesn't have limitless funds! It has been repaired numerous times in the last few months to make safe. Resurfacing will be done when funds allow. However, rest assured that we will continue to monitor this location during our routine statutory inspections. If you observe any deterioration or worsening of the issue, please feel free to open a new report. For further information on highway repairs and our risk assessment process, you can visit the Oxfordshire County Council’s website: https://www.oxfordshire.gov.uk/ residents/ roads-and-transport/ street-maintenance-z/ road-repairs
