Debris from previous potholes has not been removed and is hazardous
Reported via desktop in the Roads and Carriageways category anonymously at 14:25, Wed 26 March 2025
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
Four potholes have been repaired today, however, all the gravel/debris from previous potholes has not been cleared. The debris covers the edge of the road and the pavement.
There is a risk that the debris will be thrown up by passing cars and damage parked cars, and it is also a slip hazard due to the volume of debris.
This was discussed with the surveyor who came to review and mark the potholes for repair who agreed it was hazardous and said he would arrange for it to be removed.
I assumed this would be done by the workmen who came to repair the potholes, however, they have not done this.
Please ensure this gravel/debris is removed as soon as possible to avoid damage to cars and slips.

Photo added. Note this was discussed with the surveyor who assessed the potholes in the first instance and he agreed the debris is dangerous and should be removed.

Hi, can you please provide an update on when the gravel will be removed. This was discussed with the surveyor from the council who stated it was dangerous, yet there has been no update since I reported it a month ago.
