Overhanging tree branch causing damage to buses

Reported via desktop in the Report a tree problem category anonymously at 08:50, Tuesday 25 March 2025

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later

On bus route service 11, the right turn to Southend from the B480 is causing issues due to an overhanging tree at the bend. Several buses have been damaged so far by knocking the N/S mirror on the overgrown tree branches. Can this tree be cut back as soon as possible, please?

  • Thank you for your enquiry, after carrying out a site inspection I have determined that the tree causing the issue is not the responsibility of Oxfordshire County Council but that of the adjacent land owner. I have written to them instructing them to have the tree cut back.
