Missing 20mph signs…

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

The road was closed overnight for resurfacing after the road had been redeveloped but the 20mph signs have NOT been put back up. Why???!!! It’s ridiculous. Coming from Abingdon there is a 30mph then it’s supposed to drop down to a 20mph but no one knows that because the signs are missing. Likewise coming out of Marcham no one knows when the 30mph starts - surely this is a basic thing that should have been sorted before finishing the road?? The road works finished on 6th March - come on OCC get your act together

  • Thank you for reporting this. Bloor Homes have been made aware of this issue and are currently arranging for their contractor to reinstate the missing signs and lines. Oxfordshire County Council have requested for this to be actioned as soon as possible and will continue to do all we can to ensure these works are expedited. Please rest assured that these works will be completed in the near future.
