Overgrown Hedge

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

The hedge on the corner of the road is overgrown onto the footpath, making it a lot narrower than it should be. It has been like this for over a year.

    With the spring, the hedge is growing, making the path even smaller. Today I passed with my pram and it is not space for another person. It's hardly space for one person making it useable.

    This bush is so over grown. These photos were taken over 2 weeks ago! I live close by and a letter came to my house threatening us to cut the bush in 4 weeks or it will be cut by the council and we will be invoiced! We corrected the address, but the bush still has not been cut back. That was over a year ago and the bush still has not been cut back.

  • I can see from reports that this overgrown Pyracantha hedge has been reported several times. It is a very prickly hedge and difficult to avoid. It comes out a long way onto the path. This is a busy walkway. Please get this attended to urgently
