Footway in is covered in decayed leaves & other tree material

Reported via desktop in the Footways and Pavement damage category anonymously at 19:52, Thursday 20 March 2025

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

The footpath on the east side at the south end of High St, South Newington is covered in decayed leaves, other tree material/rotting apples & moss and is being encroached by grass runing along the adjacent wall. This results in no hard walking surface and is slippery when wet. The path has been like this over the winter period. In the winter the road carriageway surface can freeze due to water running off Home Hill, meaning there is no safe route for pedestrians at this location. Path needs complete clean to reinstate good surface.
