Deep potholes along stretch of road
Reported via mobile in the Pothole category by Amanda Jempson at 14:30, Thu 20 March 2025
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
There are a number of potholes along the stretch of this narrow lane (especially along the fringes of the lane). Some of these potholes of which, are substantially deeper than others, becoming almost crator- like in size. In addition to this, concern with night-time driving, it is a country lane and no street lighting available to road users. The possibility of pothole - related vehicle damage/Incidents becomes greater due to limited visibility. I would be grateful, if this raised concern can be looked into, thank you.

These were reported in March and under investigation since. They are deep potholes where road edge has collapsed on a blind bend so cars veer into centre of road to avoid them. They are often in shadow, or when it rains - full of water, so difficult to judge depth… very dangerous position just near the corner. These pictures only show small part of area of concern nearest the corner but there is a whole row of potholes that need attending to. The investigation should take 28days max so get these looked at urgently
