Multiple pot holes on crossing (2)

Reported via mobile in the Pothole category anonymously at 18:37, Wednesday 19 March 2025

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

There are multiple pot holes on this humped crossing. Some are where previous patch repairs have failed. Vehicles now have to zig zag to try and reduce the risk of damage. This results in danger to pedestrians as they can zig zag onto the pavement or onto the opposite side of the road. The crossing needs the whole hump being replaced. When the hump was installed the hump was too steep and it was regraded and I suspect that started the process of deterioration. It doesn't help that the drainage (reported on multiple occasions) on either side of the crossing resulting in freeze thaw action on surface. I have taken 6 photos of the issues on the crossing and as the fixmystreet will accept only 3 on each fault I will put the other 3 on a separate fault.

To resolve

Remove the hump and install a new one. Reline the crossing and approach. Sort out the drains with side of the crossing
