Flooding on main road and school entrance

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Since the installation of the traffic lights there seems to be a lot of surface water running down the road starting at the crossing and going down passed the school - this is becoming dangerous in the colder icy mornings and a hazard for Pupils and pedestrians using the crossing

  • Thank you for proactively bringing the drainage issue at Denchworth Road to our attention. Your vigilance helps us maintain the quality of our highways. We are pleased to inform you that the Parish or Town of Wantage and Grove Brook is scheduled for gully emptying in the first quarter of this financial year. While severe weather may cause delays, we are committed to thoroughly cleansing all Highway Surface Water Assets in the area within this timeframe.
