Unmarked junction, free for all, unsafe lack of design

Reported via desktop in the Road Markings category anonymously at 18:30, Thursday 6 March 2025

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

The junction of Between Towns Rd, Crowell Rd and John Allen Way is a big blank space. Crossing this at busy times from the minor arms is scary. Allowing two arms of the junction the green light simultaneously, when they are bound to come into conflict, is dangerous. The stock answer may be that it's been this way for years without serious incident, but it's possible that this kind of free-for-all is no longer acceptable.

Here is a good candidate for a roundabout junction, possibly traffic light controlled. Improved flow, better safety are predictable outcomes.
