Unnecessary traffic control

Reported via mobile anonymously at 06:34, Monday 3 March 2025

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council and South Oxfordshire District Council less than a minute later

Needless use of traffic lights to stop traffic from alternate directions; set up for no apparent reason other than to limit flow and hinder people's journeys... and cost the country's economic wellbeing, test drivers' patience, cause delays, reduce emissions... the usual! At this point, the road is plenty wide-enough to allow unhindered and normal traffic flow but for some reason (unknown to all normal road users), the local authority has pitched up with these lights.
