Excessive mud on the road
Reported via desktop in the Roads and Carriageways category anonymously at 10:31, Sun 2 March 2025
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
The recent flooding of the B4445 has deposited large amounts of silt and soil on the road. Also drainage channels to the ditch are blocked resulting in the road being wet and muddy for extended periods after rain. The photo was taken after 3 dry days. The mud is very slippery and is a danger to traffic. Cars have little braking action on the surface. It is also dangerous to walk on it. The surface needs to be cleared to make it safe.
