Damage to kerbstones and grass

Roadway is not wide enough to accommodate cars and larger vehicles such as refuse trucks. In wet weather the field is churned up by vehicles causing slippery mud on the road and also damage to kerbstones. Could this edge of the field be considered for widening of the roadway or a concrete infil to prevent further damage.
