Street light out on Crowmarsh side of Wallingford bridge
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
The 2nd light from the Crowmarsh side is not working, and hasn't been for the last 6 weeks. I reported this, along with 2 others on the bridge, last week, and the other 2 have been repaired. The 2nd light from the Crowmarsh end, HAS NOT BEEN FIXED, even though my report has been emailed as fixed. IT IS NOT FIXED ON THE CROWMARSH SIDE, and the Crowmarsh side is much darker and more dangerous. Please fix ALL the lights, not just some of them!!

Thanks for teh report. We have tried to identify th elight mentioned. I believe that th elight reported on the Crowmarsh side has a supply issue . This was reorted to the supplier on the 19th February.

Please fix this, it is still not working, and therefore hasn't been working for 5 months!!!

It was still out last time I walked across the bridge after dark, which was only a few days ago. It's easy to identify - it's the second one you get to going from the Crowmarsh end of the bridge.

11th June 2025 - now the only light working is the first light as you go from Crowmarsh over the bridge to Wallingford! I’ve not walked this way in the dark recently so don’t know how long the street lights have been out or is it a coincidence that the fibre optic cable engineers were working here earlier in the day!!?

Only 1 light on the bridge is working at the Crowmarsh end. This has been ongoing for 4 weeks. Why are we paying you council tax when you cannot even do the basics. are you waiting for someone to be injured and legal action taken against you?
