Large potholes making school entrance unsafe

When their has been rain this whole area is a terrible mess and too have to step out into the road sometimes to access the school gates. Coupled with the fact that the school bus parked there poses and additional hazard and drivers passing not adhering to the speed limit of 20mph in the village this is an accident waiting to happen. School safety should be deemed a priority and the state of this part of the pathway is only getting worse! It’s been like this for the last 3 years if not longer. I believe some remedial repairs where attempted but it didn’t create long term improvements
