Vehicle number plates disposed of in Drain

There are two vehicle registration plates that have been placed in the drain on Hurst Rise Road. I wanted to report this incase the registration plates block the drains and prevent them from working efficiently. Also, the number plates may have been placed there to hide any potential wrong doing or criminal activity.

  • Thank you for proactively bringing the drainage issue at Hurst Rise to our attention. Your vigilance helps us maintain the quality of our highways. We are pleased to inform you that the Parish or Town of Cumnor is scheduled for gully emptying in the third quarter of this financial year. While severe weather may cause delays, we are committed to thoroughly cleansing all Highway Surface Water Assets in the area within this timeframe.
