The problems with the drains and gulley blockage was previously reported under reference: ENQ241020345 This reference was closed in 20/2/25 to say that it was fixed. No work has taken place and the attached photos were taken at 1730 and clearly show blocked drains that have not been cleared in a number of years.

    Please find current photographs of blocked drains in the village. These are examples and representative of current problems, The drains through the village need to be cleared as a matter of urgency as they have not been properly addressed for many years.

  • Thank you for proactively bringing the drainage issue at Garford to our attention. Your vigilance helps us maintain the quality of our highways. We are pleased to inform you that the Parish or Town of Kingston Bagpuize is scheduled for gully emptying in the second quarter of this financial year. While severe weather may cause delays, we are committed to thoroughly cleansing all Highway Surface Water Assets in the area within this timeframe.
