Permanent water across the A361 by Vantage Business Park

Reported via mobile in the Flooding on Road category anonymously at 22:50, Wednesday 19 February 2025

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

There is a permanent blockage all down the left hand side of the road from Banbury to Bloxham, between Wykham Lane cross roads and Vantage Business Park under the trees. Because there is no where for surface water to drain away it is standing permanently and then liable to black ice with the exceptional cold weather over night. Gritting is no good as the salt is being washed away as soon as it is dropped, leaving an accident spot waiting to happen. Ice signs are no good either as hidden in the bank and can't be seen very well. This has always been an issue in the area but has been made worse after all the recent storms and drains completely blocked on both sides of the road from Banbury to Bloxham and vice versa.
