Collapse! Dangerous deep hole

A roadside underground culvert has collapsed, opening a 1m deep hole that a pedestrian, cyclist or car could hit. While only 20cm wide, and at the edge of the carriageway, it is deep enough to injure a leg for example. Opposite Kidmore House, between junction and pond, this culvert carries water towards the pond. Broken pipe is visible in the bottom. Please cover to make safe asap.

    On a common route for horse riders, pedestrians, dog walkers etc. If a horse or human were to stand on it they would almost certainly break a leg

  • A cone has been placed over the hole, but the collapse has not been fixed. The hazard still exists beneath the cone, which can only be a temporary measure, surely?
