Seriously poor road condition due to potholes
Reported via desktop in the Pothole category anonymously at 08:59, Friday 14 February 2025
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
This matter has been reported numerous times by others but nothing appears to be happening. The condition of the B4508 between Longcot and Fernham is seriously dangerous, with potholes stretching across the road in some areas or at least half way across the carriageway. This makes driving hazardous and drivers are forced to use the wrong side of the road to avoid the potholes resulting in the possibility of accidents due to on-coming traffic. This is causing damage to vehicles due to potholes and claims to the council for repair are increasing, resulting in additional costs to you. Please repair this road.

The B4508 between Longcot and Fernham is now causing considerable danger to motorists due to the increasing number of deep potholes and broken road surface. This is a real concern and there is an increasing risk of accidents due to motorists trying to avoid the poor road conditions. The extent of the potholes is increasing and despite numerous reports from motorists there appears to be no planned work.
