The pavement between 31 High St and the Post Office to the north east is very uneven.

The uneven pavement has gaps, cracks and irregular surface due to settlement and utility contractors digging it up over the last few years. An elderly friend at no. 31 uses a walker to get around and is no longer able to walk the short distance, about 30m, along to the Post Office Shop. This makes it difficult to buy essential items and make social contact.
