Grass verge destroyed into mud pit

Reported via mobile in the Grass category anonymously at 20:15, Monday 3 February 2025

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

This grass verge has been continuously destroyed by selfish & inconsiderate vans parking on it every single day. Occasionally delivery drive will reverse over it. It’s getting much much worse as the time goes. This needs to be either tarmaced to allow for more parking for residents or filled in, and massive boulders put along the edge to stop it being destroyed further. Also, all the mud that’s pushed out and onto the roads is blocking the drains and gullies and causing massive lake with our cars parked in middle of it. Still not fully fixed either. How long does it actually take the council to read, investigate & fix the problem? If this was neighbourhood in middle of Thame, it would have been done long time ago.

  • Yes, it’s still a problem. It meeds filling with half a tonne of compost or grit and some heavy boulders all way round to stop people parking or reversing on it. That flimsy crappy orange netting is not going to do poop. Oh yes can’t wait for email to tell me that you know but waiting to get re-elected to actually do something. Waste of time this app is. Same as those blocked gullies here that were reported for 3/4 of year and you still did not get to fix them. Next financial year my backside. Tell that to kids in nurseries maybe they will believe you.
