Full road flooding
Reported via mobile in the Flooding on Road category anonymously at 08:25, Wed 29 January 2025
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
The A4095 at Bladon is flooding drastically when we have substantial rainfall. It appears since the new path was put in drains have clearly been damaged and thus causing the entire road to flood and on occasions now become inpassable. There is also a severe danger to drivers as the silt and sediment build up is dangerous. This covers large patches of the carriageway in both directions and is so high now it rubs against the underside of the vehicle. This is also dangerous to motorcyclists especially at night time where the area is unlit and could cause an accident and potential fatality in an attempt to avoid the danger. This has now been an issue for 2.5 months and has not been cleared or rectified.
