The culvert from A40 which empties into culvert in Box Tree Lane is Blocked
Reported via desktop in the Blocked Drain / Gully category by Cllr Duncan Boulton at 15:27, Mon 27 January 2025
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
The culvert which starts at the A40 and empties rainwater to the culvert half way down Box Tree Lane is blocked at the point where it joins the Box Tree Lane culvert. Consequently the water is gushing down Box Tree Lane. At 11:00 today the flow was of such severity it threatened to flood into houses in Box Tree Lane because the gullies on the lane were themselves blocked with leaves and bits of broken branches. We urgently need help to prevent a repeat given the yellow warnings in place this week
