Blocked gullies at Main Road j/w Bampton Road, Curbridge

Reported via desktop in the Blocked Drain / Gully category by John Cramer at 14:03, Thu 23 January 2025

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Blocked gullies were reported at this location by my wife in November. She had a notification that the problem had been resolved but when walking past the site there was no change. She then reported the blockages again in December. As of yesterday, 22 January, no action has been taken to clear the gullies. The attached photographs show the approximate locations of the affected gullies. There are six marked in red, all blocked, and one in green (no. 7 on the plan) which seems to be functioning correctly. In addition, all the gullies on the west side of Bampton Road, walking towards Witney, are also blocked. The blockages in these gullies cause the whole width of Main Road, at the junction, to be flooded. The one gully that does function cannot take all the water that accumulates here.
