Metal access cover sinking

Metal access cover and surrounding area sinking. This is especially dangerous as on edge is sinking in to the road surface. This is now a issue where there is at least a few inches of a gap from the road surface to the metal cover. If a cyclist or car hits it, it gives you a jolt.

  • Thank you for your report. After inspecting the area, we’ve determined that the damaged apparatus is owned by a utility company Thames Water. we’ve initiated a Section 81 notice to inform the responsible utility company, urging them to address the issue promptly.
