Blocked soakaways

Reported via desktop in the Other category by Sandra Clee at 12:18, Tue 14 January 2025

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council and South Oxfordshire District Council less than a minute later

There are 2 soakaways opposite each other at the bottom of the hill from the 4074, which are blocked with mud and debris which is causing flooding. Mill Lane urgently needs to be cleared of mud and debris which I understand the Council are aware of.

Council ref: ENQ251030956

  • I am updating the Council on the state of Mill Lane. From the 4074 at the bottom of the hill the gullies either side of the lane are blocked. The mud ridge in the middle of the road is about 3” deep.

I reported the three gullies at the junction of Mill Lane and Tokers Green Lane in January. Along with mud in the middle of the lane which covers at least 3/4 of the lane. Thank you for your attention

  • This is an update on Saturday 6 September 2025 That these gullies have not been cleared and the rain water is flooding the lane as it cannot escape along the gullies causing mud and debris in the lane.
