Please provide a SALT/GRIT bin for Astrop Lane/Railway lane, Astrop Lane is on a sharp hill, ice is forming at the bottom of this hill, opposite is a major building site. A child came off their bike this morning here, which has prompted me to contact you. There is room for a salt grit bin where an overgrown bush is located just adjacent to a dropped kerb crossing. Alongside the back wall of Astrop/Railway Lane directly opposite the building site. This ice problem is ongoing as water is pooling and freezing here.

    ODS don't supply grit bins and i would suggest you contact your local Parish Council who may have funds available for this type of request.
