Drainage pipe across the road partially blocked upstream and the kerb too low to direct all water to the gulley on down stream side.

  • Yesterday after heavy rain over the weekend road again flooded. No action taken since previous report.

  • Thank you for your report. Oxfordshire County Council is responsible for maintaining approximately 120,000 gullies on the highway network. Gullies are cleaned in accordance with the County Council’s maintenance policy, and we operate a targeting program with a higher frequency of cleaning in areas at risk of flooding. Bloxham area is due to be visited to by our Gully Gang in July/August 2025 where all units within the village and surrounding will be attended to. Kind regards
