Long-term issue

Reported via mobile in the Flooding on Road category anonymously at 08:46, Monday 6 January 2025

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Please can this be fixed asap? It's awful for pedestrians when it rains or now after the snow melted. Drivers won't slow down and splash passing pedestrians. We end up walking over the very muddy grass (see pic). It's been like this for a while and I keep coming to work covered in mud and today wet as I've been splashed with dirty water too.

  • Are any updates on this? Has any progress been made? It's such a nuisance to the public having to walk on the very muddy grass area to avoid being splashed by ongoing cars. It's right my the traffic lights so exactly where they speed up! Would appreciate if this could be prioritise since it's a busy route to town /both stations and frequented by the public. Pictures below taken today 24th Jan. Thanks
